The aim of the subject is to professionally and practically equip students with knowledge in the field of human resource management to increase employee engagement in the organization in a competitively demanding environment. In this subject students are acquainted with basic concepts related to the area of the historical development of human resource management and with the main activities of human resource management such as planning, recruitment, selection, training and development and compensation of employees. The main emphasis is placed on the issue of performance management, employee motivation and on the ethics of human resource management.
