Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

1. To understand difference between traditional personnel management and HRM. 2. To formulate specifics of European HRM. 3. To clarify the organisations' HRM purpose and importance for organisation's performance, effectiveness, adaptability, development and competitive success of the organisation. 4. To differentiate and clarify roles of line managers and HR managers. 5. To orientate in procedures when fulfilling organisation's functions, task fulfilling and solving of problems connected with HR. 6. To understand culture of the partner of companies operating in multicultural global environment.

Teaching methods

Summary

The subject brings basic information about managerial approaches to HRM in organisations. Clarifies personnel strategy and planning of the organisation, creation of its personnel policy and effective ways of acquiring, rewording, employment relations, developing and using of HR of the organization. The modul's focus is information on HR handling, conditions of its effective use and development of organisation's human potential.
