Clarify competencies and competency models and their use in HRM. 4. Describe individual personnel activities. 5. Explain the essence and individual processes of talent management.

Summary

The aim of the course is to provide students with a deeper understanding of human resource management. At the beginning of the course, students are introduced to the new role of HR departments and HR management specialists, the development of HR management strategy and policy. Subsequently, students are given a detailed explanation of the various HR activities, including the roles of line managers and HRM specialists. Considerable attention is paid to talent management, employee compensation and human capital management.
