Cílem předmětu je postihnout specifika mezinárodního prostředí tak, aby bylo možné definovat mezinárodní strategii a taktiku firmy. Zaměřuje se dále na metody výběru a segmentace zahraničního trhu, výzkumné aktivity v zahraničí a v souladu s tím pak umožňuje rozhodování o formě vstupu na zahraniční trh a zejména o přizpůsobení marketingového mixu.
