Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to teach students to assess the maturity of Europe on a global scale. This will enable them to better understand and assess the standard of living of European countries on a global scale, with the possibility of a more objective comparison of European countries' development. This knowledge is focused in more detail on the space of the Czech Republic and also on the European Union.

3. Europe as an economically powerful complex interconnected space. General characteristics of the European continent.

6. Economic environment and level of European development.
7. Macro-regions of European states with developed market economy.
8. Macro-regions of Eastern and Central Europe.
9. The Czech Republic and the European Economic Area.
