Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

After completing the course students should be able to: - define the subject, aims, and principles of the environmental policy, - choose the appropriate type of environmental indicator for integration of environmental aspects into different sectoral policies, - interpret the main results of development of the international environmental policy, - demonstrate a short history of the Environmental Action Programmes of EU, - conclude the priority areas, objectives a strategic approaches of the Sixth environment action programme EC “Environment 2010: Our future, Our choice”.

Summary

As a result of passing the course the students will acquire an up-to-date knowledge of the system of environmental decision-making management in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, they will be confronted with the expected changes to take place in this field.

Vznik a vývoj mezinárodní environmentální politiky /MEP/ 5. Rozvoj mezinárodní politiky udržitelného rozvoje 6. Počátky formování environmentální politiky v EU 7. Vývoj environmentální politiky EU v období do roku 1990 8. Politika Evropské unie „směrem k udržitelnosti“ - první vlna procesu integrace 9. Prohlubování integračního procesu a legislativní rámec politiky k udržitelnosti 10.Třetí vlna politiky integrace environmentálních cílů do ostatních politik EU 11.Zahájení nové vlny integračního procesu - Helsinský summit 12.Životní prostředí 2010 : „Naše budoucnost , naše volba" - Prioritní oblasti, klíčové přístupy 13.Stockholmský summit a jeho závěry 14.Závěry z Cardiffu - Helsink a Joteborgu -kompletace Lisabonské strategie EU Prohlubování politického procesu v období do roku 2010
