Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

In this course, students will gain knowledge about applied ecologization methods of a company. Matters pertaining to the EIA Law, as well as the ERA and EA, will be introduced. Precautionary measures, including, ISO norms, eco-labeling, and use of an ecological management system will also be introduced

Summary

Vychází ze znalosti a funkce péče o životní prostředí a podrobněji seznamuje s povinnostmi podniků při minimalizaci jejich vlivu na jednotlivé složky životního prostředí. Zabývá se dále oceňováním vlivů podniků na prostředí a to formou Environmental Impakt Assesmentu Environmental Risk Assesmentu a Auditu. Předmět objasňuje dále problematiku jak postupovat v rámci podniku při zavádění EMS a EMAS, eco-labelingu, objasňuje prevenci znečištění, ekologické tlaky na mezinárodní obchod a důležitost norem ISO 9000 a ISO 14000 včetně jejich využití v podnikové praxi. Naznačuje způsoby předcházení ekologickým závadám a rizikovým situacím. Podává základní charakteristiku managementu podniku jako orgánu podnikatelského, ale i jako subjektu odpovídajícího za minimalizaci vlivu na prostředí.

1. Human environment, environmental factors, systems of homeostasis, stability, instability of the environment 2. Protection of the environment as part of the business priorities 3. Environmental Management's focus on greening 4. Eco-efficiency in business - the requirements of ecological, socio-economic 5. Senior executives and environmental standards, harmonization of standards, compatibility standards 6. How corporate strategy on the example of waste. 7. Assessing the impact of buildings and activities on the environment (EIA) 8. Assessment of risk and burden on the environment (ERA) 9. Principles of environmental audit (EA) 10. Standardization in Europe and in the CR 11. Principles of Environmental Labeling 12. ISO standards and their importance in the corporate marketing 13. Corporate environmental maps and their use 14. Sample case studies of fictional companies - a process of environmental action
