The goal is to master the basic systematic and methodological aspects of analysis and forecasts, focusing on specific regional analysis and methods and their preparation.

Summary
Mastering the basic systematic and methodological aspects of analysis and forecasts, focusing on specific regional analysis methods and their development is the essential prerequisites for the development of analytical and interpretive skills of students. Students will also orient themselves in analytical and forecasting approaches which are used mainly in the formation of regional policy and implementation of program activities for regional development. The purpose of exercises is to familiarize students with the basic regional science information data sources, with the methods of data collection and processing. Attention is then devoted to data analyzing by using basic statistical methods and to the development of interpretive skills of students.
