Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

This course deals with theory and practice of location behaviour and decision-making, formation of spatial structures, chronological development of these spatial structures as well as territorial policies. These categories are examined primarily from economic point of view, nonetheless social and environmental aspects of spatial issues are discussed as well. Fundamental contents of the course is represented by the following blocks: location of economic entities, settlement systems and spatial order, local/regional development theories and policies of various territorial scales.
