Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

In the frame of this subject students will be albe: - describe czech legal enviroment, define its subject, outline the methods of legal regulation and list basic forms of regulation, - understand principles of the public law and private law regulation and explain differences between them - use gained knowledge and comprehension when interpreting and solving model situations.

Lectures

Summary

During the lectures the students learn to orientate in the basic legal order of economics and business. First the y will acquired with law structure and basic theoretical terms, sources, of which the legal information can be pulled in order to orientate in positive legal regulations. The lectores do not copy law structure but are devoted more to economics and busines field, to which students allocate teh complex legal regulation.

Subject syllabus:

1. Legal regulation and norms creation - legal regulation, term publication. Acts collection, validity and date of force - publication of other legal regulations - collection of court decisions and their significance 2. Private law and its legal regulation. Entrepreneurship and its legal regulation. - relation between Civil Code and Commercial Code 3. Private law and its legal regulation. Entrepreneurship and its legal regulation - Trade licensing. - civil processing law - special regulations in relation with foreign trade 4. Legal regulation of labour law and employment - Labour Code - regulations on work safety - collective negotiation 5. Legal regulation of labour law and employment - Legal regulation of employment 6. Legal regulations of wage and salary and travel expenses 7. Legal regulation of social welfare - sickness insurance, pension insurance, medical insurance, maternity insurance, invalidity insurance 8. Financial Law - state budget, budgets of municipalities, regions - legal regulations of taxes, fees and its processing 9. Financial Law - exchange and customs law - legal regulation of international trade - legal regulation of bank s and insurance companies 10. Administration Law - administration process, penalties process - regulations of building law, public supplies, environment, consumer protection, internal administration and inspection and further 11. Criminal Law – material and processional 12. Intellectual Property Law
