Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
In the subject matter students are supposed to:
- describe regulatory enviroment, define its subject, outline the methods of
regulation and list basal forms of regulation in EU law,
- applicate gained knowledge and comprehension to interprete and solve model situations,
- identify practical problem and infer legal regulation concerned,
- explain legal aspect of practical problem,
- interpret legal regulation.
The course is devoted to the special part of EU law (EU common policies)
Examination is unique for both EU law for economists A and B: Written test, at least 51 points/100 needed.

Summary
This course concentrates on legal regulation of common EU policies and accession matters:
- competition law,
- tax law,
- consumer protection,
- judicial cooperation in civil and criminal matters,
- common foreign and security policy,
- particularities of Czech accession.
This course is the follow-up of EU law for economists A.

Within the study to monitor the actual changes of legislation in accordance with the pedagogue´s instructions.

Subject syllabus:
In the frame of this subject students will be able:
- to describe legal environment, define regulation, chracterize legal regulation and name the basic regulation forms
- to understand the principles of public and private legal regulatïon and explain difference between them
- to use acquinted knowledge to explain and solve model situations
- to identify the problem in practise and find the particular legal regulation
- explaing the leagl side of the problem
- explain legal regulations and recomend possible solutions in the practise
