Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Students after passing the subject will be able:
- to identify a describe functioning of commertial banks in particular country within and outside the EU
- to asses main factors which influenced changes and development in the financial institution structure
- to be knowledgeable in the EU legislative framework for financial and banking sector
- to react on current development, to be ready on prepered changes most particular in connection to the prepared project of a banking union

Cílem předmětu je analyzovat a vysvětlit charakteristické rysy vývoje bankovního sektoru ve světě i v EU, hospodaření bank, strukturu aktiv a pasiv bankovního sektoru, bankovnictví mimo bilanci i investiční bankovnictví. Absolventi předmětu budou schopni identifikovat a popsat fungování komerčních bank v dané ekonomice, v prostoru EU a ve světě, posoudit hlavní faktory, které ovlivnily změny ve struktuře finančních institucí, nabídku finančních produktů a změnu distribučních kanálů bank.
