1. To describe the fundamentals of Project Management. 2. To describe the phases of project management. 3. To characterize the application of project management in the development of municipalities and regions. 4. To explain the development and contents of key documents for project implementation. 5. To interpret the requirements for structure of projects financed by EU structural funds.

Fundamentals of Project Management. The stages of project lifecycle. Initiation, Planning, Implementation and Conclusion of projects. Project Management in regional development. Key project management documents for project planning and implementation. The use of EU Structural funds for financing the projects.
