Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

1. Describe the basic terminology of international project management 2. Clarify the basic principles and methods of project management in the global environment. 2. Describe the management phase of the international project. 3. To characterise the basic project management standards applied in the European Union and the US. 4. Explain the preparation and content of the essential documents for the preparation and implementation of international projects co-financed from public sources. 5. Interpret requirements for the structure of an international project in the context of management, communication and outsourcing.

Summary

The subject is devoted to the deepening of the knowledge gained in Project and grant management B on project management and subsidy management in a global international environment with a special focus on standardization and techniques applied to project management in the European Union and the USA. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with different approaches to managing international projects based on relevant techniques, standards and methods of project management.
