Summary

The course deals with integration processes in the world economy. The regional economic integration is being concerned in the main world regions - Europe, America, Africa and Asia. Relations with the European Union are tackled. Having the knowledge of the course the student should understand the European integration in the world context.

Pan American Integration (FTAA). 8.North American Integration (NAFTA). 9.Latin American Integration (MERCOSUR, ANCOM, Central America and Caribbean). 10.Asian Region and Integration Tendencies (ASEAN, GCC, SAARC). 11.Specific Features of African Integration. 12.Intercontinental Integration (APEC, IOR). 13. External Relations of the EU and its Relationship with Other Integration Groupings in the World Economy. 14.Role of International Organizations.
