Jednosemestrální výuka doplňuje studium předmětu Stylistika v žurnalistice teoretickými, ale hlavně praktickými poznatky z oblasti nejfrekventovanějších žánrů současné žurnalistiky (světové, převážně anglo-americké, i domácí).

1. Journalism, genology, genres generally 2. Journalistic genres (informative/news, analytic/journalistic, fiction 3. A process of journalistic texts creation; composition of news; lead 4. Language and the style of journalism; words, sentences, over-sentence forms 5. Language and the style of headlines 6. Meta-language expressions in journalism; words accentuated by quotes 7. Means of indirect nomination in journalism 8. Means of non-verbal communication in journalism 9. Editorial 10. Information article, story 11. Essay and other entertainment genres 12. Report; interview; review; editorial 13. Feature; a short story from the court vs. a report from the court 14. Investigative journalism
