Zkvalitnění mluveného projevu studentů získáním potřebných dovednosti a
sebedůvěry pro kultivovaný, přesvědčivý mluvený projev, pro prezentaci a
vystupování na veřejnosti.

Subject syllabus:
1. Rhetoric, its significance and the current conception
2. Technique of the spoken speech:
- Breathing, breath and articulation exercises, tongue twisters
- Sound modulation of the speech - intonation, sentential stress, pace of the speech, phrasing
- Specific language rhetorical means - figures, tropes and non-figural means
3. Rhetorical speeches:
- Report, lecture, discussion paper, festive speech
4. Preparation of the speech:
- Choice of the theme, division and arrangement of the theme, construction of the speech, delivery
- Technical means (projection equipment, arrangement and the size of the space)
5. Presentation
- Preparation of the presentation
- Personality of the rhetoric (1. image and the style of the presenter)
- Non-verbal communication (gesticulation, eye contact, posture)
- Contact with the listeners, stage fright reducing
6. Spoken address:
- Training of the prepared as well as not prepared speech
