Summary
Předmět je určen studentům k osvojení si zásad odborné práce, práce s literaturou a prameny a dalšími heuristickými materiály a práce s informačními zdroji z pohledu žurnalisty. Definice odborné práce, volba tématu, definování cílu odborné práce. Metodologie a metodika práce, struktura odborné práce. Otázky vědecké etiky (používání zdrojů, diskuse, polemika, kritika), organizace vlastní odborné práce a předpokladů jejího úspěšného zakončení. Na předmět bude navazovat diplomový seminář.
Témata:
Co je věda. Vědecké vyjadřování v odborném textu – oblast oborů společenskovědních disciplín, specifikace a charakter textu, kompoziční struktura vědecké práce. Stavba vědeckého odborného textu, struktura vědecké odborné práce – analytický a syntetický způsob zpracování tématu, vědecké metody (komparace, analogie, abstrakce apod.)
Otázky vědecké etiky v oblasti odborné práce, používání zdrojů, diskuse, polemika, kritika.
Organizace vlastní odborné práce a předpokladů jejího úspěšného zakončení – vzorová práce jako aplikace probírané látky, prezentace výsledků práce (aspekty komunikační, společenské, psychologické apod.).

What is science? Ways of scientific expressing in the professional text - the area of fields of social science disciplines, specification and character of the text, compositional structure of scientific work.
Construction of scientific professional text, structure of scientific professional work, analytical and synthetic way of topic processing, and scientific methods (comparison, analogy, abstraction and the like.).
Issues of scientific ethics in the field of professional work, applying of sources, discussions, polemics, criticism
Organization of own professional work and preconditions of its successful completion, model work as the application of the subject matter, presentation of the results of work (communication, social and psychological aspects)
