Student bude seznámen se základními nástroji pro podporu rozhodování z oblasti výrobní, distribuční a zásobovací logistiky, které nacházejí široké uplatnění v praktických oblastech. Studen bude schopen: - analyzovat, formulovat a řešit vybrané úlohy na reálných datech, - realizovat řešení úloh ve výpočetním prostředí MS Excel, - realizovat řešení úloh v profesionálním optimalizačním nástroji Xpress-Ive.

Summary

Logistika je obor, který disponuje širokým aparátem metod, který využívá k řešení problémů z vlastní oblasti. Tento aparát metod je však možné úspěšně aplikovat i na řadu problémů z jiných oblastí (ekonomika, marketing, zemědělství, doprava, telekomunikace, finance, apod.). Představení a aplikace vybraných kvantitativních logistických metod na základní problémy z praktických oblastí bude primárním cílem tohoto předmětu.

Subject syllabus:

OUTLINE 1. The importance of logistic methods as a decision support tool. 1.1 The initial insight into the problem: - definition of logistic, - the importance of logistic methods in practice. 1.2 Methods used in logistic: - Distribution of methods: - - exact: statistical, operational analysis method, simulation, prognostic. - - heuristic: expert systems, methods of creative thinking. 1.3 Theoretical description of each method with reference to the future application in practice. 2. Application of logistic methods in purchase, supply and storage. 2.1 The importance of purchase, supply and storage. 2.2 Selection of suppliers and their evaluation: - ABC analysis, - multi-criteria decision analysis. 2.3 Inventory management. 2.4 Inventory management models: - static models of inventory theory, - dynamic model of inventory theory. 2.5 Optimization in terms of purchasing, supply and storage: - optimal location of warehouse, - optimal use of the loading area. 3. Application of logistic methods in the transport sector. 3.1 Traffic and transportation. 3.2 Formulation of transport tasks: - transport tasks with an excess capacity, - transport tasks with an excess of requirements, - transport tasks with containers. 3.3 Trace tasks: - tasks focused on an operation of vertex, - tasks focused on an operation of edge. 3.4 Mathematical models of transport tasks. 4. Application of logistic methods in distribution. 4.1 Distribution systems: - types of distribution systems, - structure of distribution systems, - distribution system function, - formulation of tasks in distribution systems. 4.2 Mathematical models of distribution systems. 4.3 Uncertainty in models of distribution systems. 5. Application of logistic methods in management and decision-making. 5.1 Application and importance of logistic methods in management and decision-making and in customer service. 5.2 Basic concepts of the queuing theory. 5.3 Basic systems of the queuing theory: - the queuing system without queues, - the queuing system with the limited queue, - the queuing system with infinite queue. 5.4 Methods of network analysis: - the critical path methods, - the Gantt chart. 5.5 Material requirement planning. 6. Application of prognostic methods in practice. 6.1 The importance of forecasting. 6.2 Basic concepts of forecasting. 6.3 Methods and types of forecasts. 6.4 Prognostic models: - moving average method, - time series, - regression models.
