The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with tools of statistical software SPSS for analysis both numeric and non-numeric data. The choise of methods is oriented to data processing from marketing and sociological research.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

- účast na cvičeních, - zápočtová písemná práce během semestru; max. 25 bodů; min. 13 bodů, - vypracování a včasné odevzdání projektu (samostatné vytvoření a zpracování dotazníkového šetření); max. 20 bodů; min 5 bodů. Minimální počet bodů k udělení zápočtu: 23 bodů. Podmínky pro individuální studijní plán: Totéž, účast ve cvičeních je možno nahradit vypracováním úloh zadaných vyučujícím.

1. Creating data sets. Sampling methods. 2. Sample size. 3. Variable types, their values, missing values. 4. Particular variables analysis. Frequency distribution. Estimations. Testing about proportions. 5. Association between variables. 6. Log-linear models. 7. Comparing two or more populations. 8. Logistic regression.
