Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

- to extend knowledge from probability and statistics, - to develop practical exploitation of gained knowledge at a processing of statistical data on a computer

Teaching methods

Seminars

Summary

Taught only in Czech. This course deepens and practises acquired basic knowledge from probability and statistics. The students learn how to explore quantitative and qualitative data on PC, how to estimate and test properties of population given the knowledge of its random sample and how to present results or solutions of practical cases by tables or graphs.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Úkoly: Na cvičeních účast aktivní, znalost probírané látky z přednášek, schopnost řešit s porozuměním zadané příklady, docházka alespoň 50 %. Úkoly: Samostatné vypracování a úspěšné obhájení projektů. Každý projekt má 2 povinné části, výpočet v Excelu a slovní komentáře výsledků. Zápočet = počet bodů za projekty Studenti, kteří opakují předmět, musí všechny povinnosti plnit znovu. Projekty musí být nové, včetně nových dat.
