Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to teach the students how to set up and manage consulting company, including the selection of appropriate consulting area. Graduate will have skills in consulting company marketing, consulting company sales of consultancy services and financial management of consulting firm.

Subject syllabus:

The course is aimed at promoting entrepreneurship through professional guidance for entrepreneurs, managers and specialists in businesses. The course focuses on questions of establishment, management and economics of a consulting firm. The course is based on teamwork in a virtual consulting firm. Main topics of the course: 1. Introduction to the subject, main characteristics of services and their division. 2. Quality and innovation of services. 3. Marketing services. 4. Consulting as a service, personality of a consultant and steps for establishing a consulting firm. 5. Marketing consulting firm. 6. Marketing 4P for counseling services. 7. Sales of consulting services. 8. Communication consultant with client. 9. Financial management of a consulting firm. 10. Quality management in a consulting firm. 11. Service innovation in a consulting firm. 12. Ethics in a consulting firm. 13. Realization of consulting order, steps in consulting process. 14. Case study.
