Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The objectives of the subject:
1) to classify and structure businesses and other organizations for the purpose of their diagnosing,
2) to use systems thinking,
3) to analyze the financial health of a business,
4) to determine the value of a business,
5) to analyze business potentials
6) to apply selected diagnostic methods
7) to classify business problems and apply methods for their solving,
8) to classify business crises and learn main approaches to them,
9) to analyze the business potential and opportunities,
10) to identify, analyze and evaluate business risks,
11) to understand general diagnostic models.

V předmětu jsou studenti seznámeni se základy podnikové diagnostiky a naučí se klasifikovat a strukturovat podnik a jiné organizace pro potřeby jejich diagnostikování, zavést na podniku systém včetně jeho dekompozice na dílčí subsystémy. Studenti budou umět analyzovat a vyhodnotit finanční zdraví podniku a ocenit podnik pomocí různých metod. Dále jsou studenti seznámeni s metodami identifikace, analýzy a hodnocení hlavních faktorů v rámci diagnostiky podnikatelského prostředí. Budou umět identifikovat, analyzovat a hodnotit silné a slabé stránky podniku a aplikovat použitelné analogie z technické diagnostiky. Zároveň se seznámí s postupy a metodikami jak odhalit, třídit, hodnotit a řešit podnikové problémy.
