1. Formulate the function, objectives and content of business logistics. 2. Categorize and describe the processes in business logistics. 3. Explain and compare various approaches implemented in business economics. 4. Map and asses the concepts of business logistics in concrete supply chains. 5. Examine the costs and economic effect efficiency of logistic stock management systems.

Summary

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the peculiarities of processes in business logistics, the ways of organizing and managing these processes and their impact on the economics of relevant organizations. After completing the course, students should be able to apply their knowledge to basic practical problems in the fields of business logistics.

1. Definition and development of business logistics. 2. Microeconomic and macroeconomic importance of business logistics. 3. Definition, goals and essence of supply logistics. 4. Logistics technologies in supply. 5. Definition, goals and essence of distribution logistics. 6. Logistics technologies in distribution. 7. Retail logistics. 8. Concept and objectives of customer service. 9. Phases and Elements of Customer Service. 10. Customer Service Indicators. 11. Nature and structure of supply chains. 12. Basic concepts of supply chain management. 13. Logistic performance of served markets. 14. Examples from the logistics practice of business enterprises.
