1. Get to know the basic concepts of quality management. 2. Know the basic methods for evaluating customer satisfaction. 3. Know the principles and content of quality management systems. 4. Know process thinking and management. 5. Be able to use simple quality tools.

Summary

The course provides introduction to quality management. It clarifies the concept of quality, customer and social requirements for quality, economic aspects of quality, factors affecting quality. It defines the objectives and approaches of quality management. It characterizes principles and content of quality management systems according to international ISO standards. It also focuses to master simple tools for process analyzing and customer satisfaction measurement.

1. Introduction, basic terms and definitions, quality of products and services. 2. Quality from the perspective of the manufacturer/seller and the customer. 3. Basic principles of quality management. 4. Overview of international system standards. 5. Principles and content of quality management system according to ISO 9001. 6. Quality planning. 7. Quality in production. 8. Quality in services. 9. Simple tools for mapping and process analyzing . 10. Methods and procedures for customer satisfaction evaluation. 11. Continuous improvement and overview of advanced quality techniques. 12. Process quality management. 13. Lean Six Sigma. 14. Economic aspects of quality.
