Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The goal of the subject is to familiarize students with the basics of crisis management. Based on this knowledge the students should know how to identify the risk factors and how to evaluate them. They should get to know the useful methods for decreasing the level of risk. One of the outputs could be a proposal of crisis scenario and its application. The subject contains the basics of the crisis management theory of solving pre-crisis, crisis and post-crisis situations in organization management.

Summary

Praxe naléhavě potřebuje odborníky se znalostmi krizového managementu, neboť v podnikové praxi se zavádí funkce krizového managera. Správné zvládnutí podnikových krizí je zásadní otázkou přežití podniku ve složitém konkurenčním prostředí. Studenti budou seznámeni nejen s řešením krize, ale zejména se způsoby její včasné idetifikace a nástroje , kterými lze krizi a její důsledky překonat.
