Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
1. To be aware of advanced knowledge about business administration and strategy
2. To understand the principles of business administration and strategy
3. To indentify main and partial goals of contemporary business administration and strategy
4. To assess learned conditions of practice, to value main aspects of contemporary condition and knowledge change, to draft efficient recommendations in form of actual strategies for enterprise development to be presented in a term work.
5. To grasp and understand the concept of the problem that is solved (in the term paper) and brings it to rational presentation with actual recommendations.
6. To familiarize oneself with the theory and practice of business administration, to apply theoretical knowledge into practical analytical conclusions and draft other trends in business development.

Summary
The aim of the module is the interpretation of Economics and Management programme focused on contemporary concepts and models of business administration and strategy. The module is set for Economics and Management programme students, who during their bachelor studies graduated from Business Administration A, B or C modules or modules with the similar content (Enterprise Theory, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise, etc.). As to content the module is linked also to other modules of Business Administration domain master studies, e.g. Business Development A, B.
The module offers the determination of economical business strategy at the beginning of the 21st century. It deals with business potential determination including its economical rationality, system of business strategy in contemporary entrepreneurial environment conditions (incl. transnationalization, virtualization, etc.) with regard to enterprise competitiveness. The focus is given to application of various business strategy setting concepts, especially diagnostic approach GM-Trend on actual enterprise and its practical analytical conclusions and trends of further business development. The module has its own E-learning support.
