Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
1. To introduce key issues related to the management of innovations
2. To acquire knowledge about innovations, to acquire skills necessary for the management of innovations at operational and strategic levels
3. To apply and modify functional model of innovations management by using case study in practice
4. To analyze and classify (in a case study) a series of sequential steps realized when managing innovation process.
5. To work out a process of innovation management including its formalization.
6. To evaluate and interpret created process.
7. To reach improved management skills of the students when managing innovations in an enterprise.

Summary
The aim of this course is to deepen existing knowledge about innovations and innovation process as one of the key enterprise processes. An attention is paid to key questions which are usually solved by managing innovations at operational and strategic levels. Theoretical background of specialized topics is completed by concrete examples of product innovations and innovation processes from a business practice.
