Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
1) Classify and structure a business and other organizations for the purpose of their diagnosing.
2) Setting a system on a business incl. its decomposition to partial subsystems.
3) Analyze and evaluate business financial health.
4) Valuing a business using various methods.
5) Apply Balanced Scorecard Method and EFQM model incl. synthesis and overall evaluation.
6) Diagnose and assess the value of entrepreneurial nets and clusters.

Summary
This subject explains the foundations of diagnostic thinking in five areas of global business diagnostics i.e. business as a system, financial health and business value, strengths and weaknesses, problems and crises and opportunities and potentials. Chosen methods and practices of making diagnostics are explained. After finishing the subject students will be able of analytical, synthetical and assessment thinking in the areas mentioned above.
