Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

1) Identify, analyze and assess main factors in the diagnostics of business environment. 2) Identify, analyze and assess business strengths and weaknesses. 3) Apply useful analogies from technical diagnostics. 4) Reveal, classify, assess and solve business problems. 5) Analyze and utilize business potential. 6) Classify and diagnose business production factors.

Summary

This subject explains the foundations of diagnostic thinking in five areas of global business diagnostics i.e. business as a system, financial health and business value, strengths and weaknesses, problems and crises and opportunities and potentials. The subject also deals with a diagnosis of particular production factors and enterprise functions. Selected methods utilizable for enterprise diagnostics are presented on particular examples. Some possible preventive and subsequent therapy procedures are discussed. After finishing the subject students will be able of analytical, synthetical and assessment thinking in the areas mentioned above.
