Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
1. To know the basic theoretical findings about consultancy and a consultancy firm
2. To understand the basics and roles of the consultant and the consultancy firm
3. To appoint main and partial goals of consultancy
4. To assess the already known stage, evaluate main factors of change of the present stage and knowledge of consultancy, propose concrete procedures for effective developments of the consultancy firm
5. To handle and understand the basics of economic managing, economic decision making, leading and process controlling in the consultancy company
6. To apprise of the theory and consultancy experience in the Czech republic, apply theoretical findings to practical suggestions and recommendations of a fictive consultancy firm (in the semestral task)

Summary
The emphasis in this course is put on the support of entrepreneurship by means of professional consultancy for businessmen and managers. In tutorials students learn to be well versed in given problems through skilled discussion, written reports and seminar papers and learn to work with special literature as well i.e.: management consulting in perspective, the consulting process and potential, consulting in various areas of management, managing a consulting firm, developing management consultants and the consulting profession.
