Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

1. Know the methodology of writing a bachelor's thesis and distinguish between the methodology of a bachelor's and master's thesis 2. Understand the professional content of the work and select a suitable subject (enterprise, organization) for the implementation of theory in practice 3. Identify the main and partial goals of solving the assigned problem and summarize the findings into clear conclusions and recommended 4. Evaluate the known state of practice, evaluate the main factors of change in the current state and knowledge, propose adjustments to the current economic situation and management of the company or organization 5. Understand and understand the essence of the assigned task and identify the key elements and links between them, the dynamics of research behavior, its effectiveness and risks 6. To get acquainted with the theory and practice of the solved task, to solve the given task according to the set goals, to apply theoretical knowledge to practical proposals and recommendations

Summary

The course focuses on the preparation of a bachelor thesis. The conditions of assignment, elaboration and submission of the bachelor thesis are specified in the Study and Examination Regulations for studies in bachelor study programmes. University of Mining and Metallurgy - Technical University of Ostrava and the Directive of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics of VŠB-TU Ostrava on the principles for for the preparation of final theses. The student will be able to solve the assigned problem, present (orally and in writing) the assigned problem, defend their own approaches and conclusions.
