The goal of the subject is to obtain the basic knowledge about the tasks of logistics and quality management, about decission making criteria and limits, about appropriate methods and techniques in this area.

1.Process approach, process definition and description, value stream, logistic chains and networks, process performance measurement.
2.Objects, goals and principles of logistics management and quality management. System approach and theory constraints. Performance measurement and costs related to logistics and quality.
3.Legal aspects in logistics and quality management with emphasis on international law and standards.
4.Logistics in purchasing, inventory control.
5.Logistics in production.
6.Logistics in distribution.
7.Management systems according to ISO standards.
8.Excellence Model EFQM and its implementation in performance management.
9.Methodology of analysis and improvement in logistics and quality management.
10.Concepts of supply chain management, partnership, tools for logistic integration.
