The objectives of the subject: 1) to classify and structure businesses and other organizations for the purpose of their diagnosing, 2) to use systems thinking, 3) to analyze the financial health of a business, 4) to determine the value of a business, 5) to analyze business potentials.

Summary

In the subject, students are introduced to the basics of business diagnostics and will learn to classify and structure a business and other organizations for the needs of their diagnosis, to introduce a system at the business, including its decomposition into sub-systems. Students will be able to analyze and evaluate the financial health of a business and value a business using a variety of methods. Furthermore, students are introduced to the methods of identification, analysis and evaluation of the main factors in the diagnostics of the business environment. They will be able to identify, analyze and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the company and apply applicable analogies from technical diagnostics. At the same time, they will become familiar with the procedures and methodologies for detecting, classifying, evaluating and solving business problems.
