Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The goal of the subject is to obtain the methodological knowledge for analysis, deisgn and management of processes and supply chains from poit of views of quality, flexibility, resilience and effexctiveness. The goal is also to obtain the ability for evaluation of various concepts of flow organization. Further to obtain the skills for advanced methods and techniques implementation like the theory of constraints, value stream analysis, Six Sigma , FMEA, Statistical Process Control.

1. Structure, goals and measures of processes and supply chains performance. 2. Problems and risks of supply chains. 3. Criteria and tools for process and supply chain analysis. 4. Concepts focused on flows integration,coordination and synchronization as well as on resilience and agility achievement. 5. Approaches and techniques towards processes and supply chains performance improvement.

Subject syllabus:

Risk management and resilience increasing of supply chains. Agile logistic concepts. Internal and external logistic integration - tools, effects and barriers. Controlling a diagnostics in the field of process organization and management. Advanced approaches and techniques to quality analysis and improvement. Concept of lean company and lean supply chain, concept of agility, concept of ECR - Efficient Customer Response. Requirements on information systems in process - and supply chain management and new tendences in this area.
