Students will learn the theory and potential practical application of advanced quality techniques. Manage the use of methods for solving quality problems. Learn to work with different methods in their mutual relations.

Summary

The course focuses on advanced quality control procedures that are included in the methodology called Six Sigma. The methodology is a project approach for continuous process improvement, which has a long-term quantitative target 3.4 defects per million opportunities. Methods include the use of advanced quality techniques in their mutual coherence and connections that are made by Six Sigma project schedule. The basic blocks of content are: Methodology of Six Sigma improvement, Quality Function Deployment method, the method of Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, Measurement System Analysis Method, a method of Design of Experiments and Statistical Process Control Method.
