Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The subject is taught in the doctoral study leve. Its aim is to explain the goals and priciples of deployment and further development of quality management systems in organizations. The student will understand the since and functions of quality management systems, obtain the ability to conceptulize the system structure for koncrete conditions, iniciate and control the activities in systems creating and development.

Summary

Quality management system is understood as the tool for the organization performance improvement. The various approaches to quality management system are compared and the procedures in system implementation are explained.

Management systems according to ISO 9000 and 14 000 standards. 8. Quality management standards and needs of management systems integrity. 9. specifics of quality management system in various kinds of organizations. 10. Total Quality Management. 11. Designing, auditing and development of quality management systems. 12. Excelence models and their application in strategic focus of the organization. 13.Information support i quality management systems.
