Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Students will be able to orient themselves in Czech politics, explain the basic rules and mechanisms of practical politics. Students will be guided to look critically at political competition, the presentation of political ideologies and the fulfillment of electoral promises.

Každý den se setkáváme s řadou jevů, které politika ovlivňuje, chodíme k volbám, sledujeme politické debaty, sledujeme média a sociální sítě, zkrátka aniž si to uvědomujeme, jsme politikou zásadně ovlivňováni. Předmět má za cíl vysvětlit popularizační a především srozumitelnou formou vybrané základní principy české politiky, porozumět jejím souvislostem a nahlédnout na ně kritickým a analytickým způsobem.

- policy basic assumptions and tools of its operation;
- politics during election campaigns;
- politics and media;
- spatial specifics of policy (local, regional and national).
