Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

• define the theoretical resources of health policy and the subjects of health policy including their mission and competences • measure the separate models of refund mechanisms for health services financing • compare the different health systems asserting in the EU countries • evaluate the health insured plans of health insurance companies • characterize the separate methods of economic analysis applied in the health care economics • discuss the separate phases of health care economics reform since the year 1989

Summary

The course deals with the main health care issues particularly the problems of finacing and allocation of the disposal resources.It focuses on quality and effectiveness of the health care in the Czech Republic and the EU.

Reimbursement methods. 5.Health Care Financing. Reimbursement methods. The Secong Part. 6.Systems of Health Care Insurance. 7.Health Care Insurance companies and their role. 8.System of Healt Care institutions in the Czech Republic and their organizational structure. 9.Health Care reforms in the Czech Republic. 10.Financial management of Health Care Institutions. 11.Principles of Marketing, planning, change management in Health Care. 12.Economic methods in Health Care. 13.Ethics of Healh Care.
