Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

You will know Basic information concerning the public administration in EU countries and adminictrative principles The models of employment in EU countries, the systems of regional organization and their specifics You will be able to Compare the bodies of public administration in wider context within the Czech Republic and chosen EU countries Characterize basic institutional principles and systems of state service in EU countries You will get Survey concerning the core of the European administrative area and its fundamentals for public administration Knowledge concerning the public system overview from individual points of view.

Summary

The course should enable students to understand the actual questions of european systems of public administration and some other characteristics of the public administration not only in EU countries but also in new countries EU and Czech republic and int comparison. A special attention is paid to the progress of the selected systems, principals, problems, reforms, politic systems and local authorities in the selected countries. The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge of the systems of public administration in Europe.
