Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Graduates are able: 1) to identify and use correctly specific terminology of quality management, 2) to determine background, objectives and possibilities of increasing quality of public administration, 3) to characterize fundamental models and methods of increasing quality of public administration, 4) to assess benefits of different models and method of increasing quality of public administration in practice.

Summary

Subject of Quality in public administration is devoted to quality management and improving quality in conditions of public administration. Attention is focused on the theoretical background of this issue and on the practical use of selected methods and instruments increasing quality of public administration – Common Assessment Framework, benchmarking, Balanced Scorecard, ISO 9000 norms, Local Agenda 21.
