Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

You will know  to classify and characterize legal forms of nonprofit organization in the Czech Republic;  to describe the theories of nonprofit organization; You will be able  to specify the criteria of nonprofit organization separation;  to define the basic principles of nonprofit organization management;  to distinguish the legal and economic aspects of state and non-state nonprofit organization functioning; You will gain  obtain the practical experience for analysis of nonprofit organization financial management.

Summary

Subject deals mainly with principles of non profit organisations functioning. It explains their existence within the environment of national economy. Subject also explains important role of non profit organisations, that is the support of democratic principles of a country. Students are gradually introduced to the principles of the non profit sector, to the specifics of the non profit sector, to the division of fields of their functioning, sources of their financing. They learn about non profit organisations financial decision – making, management, marketing and fund rising.
