Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

To select the topic from the public economics and administration for the elaboration in the form of seminar work. To describe the fundamentals and approaches to the elaboration of the scientific works. To find the objective and methods of solving the theme. To describe theoretical resources of the solved issue. To characterize the content of the solved issue into the elaboration principles (synopsis). To recherche the scientific literature necessary for the theme. To elaborate the seminar work.

The contens of the seminary depends on the aim of seminary – it is published before start of the semester.

Compulsory literature:

Principles of diploma thesis elaboration Literature according to specialization of seminar and specialization of upcoming diploma thesis.

Recommended literature:

According to the relevant issues of specific seminars.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Elaboration and submission of sub-parts of seminar work.

Subject syllabus:

1. Consultations with students on specialized topics on the base of their study of literature recommended in the seminar. 2. Enhancing of skills in the area of research work methodology, especially from the following perspectives: 3. Determination of diploma thesis specialization and aims of the thesis. 4. Formulation of hypothesis and definition of methods appropriate for its verification. 5. Definition of basic literature corresponding to specialization of thesis. 6. Addressing a specific task according to instructions of seminar supervisor.
