Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Objective of the subject is: - to follow the theoretical and practical knowledge from the Master’s study programme of public economics, public finance and public administration, - to arrange the theoretical resources which outline the effectiveness in the public sector and develop the students´ creative thinking, - to analyze and synthesize the selected segments of the public sector including the suggested cooperation of the public and private sector, - to combine and explain the budgetary process, causes of the public expenditure increase and capital creation including the principles of fiscal federalism, - to set up and evaluate the systems of donations and other resources for local budgets in the Czech Republic and selected EU countries, - to explain the development of the systems of public administration and European integration including the European administrative space, - to categorise the models and reforms of the public administration in the Czech Republic and EU countries, - to formulate and evaluate the importance of international activities and international cooperation in the public administration, - to set up and summarize the knowledge from the selected sphere of the public economics or public administration in the form of scientific paper which is defended by the student in front of the board of examiners.
