Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

This subject is devoted to description of bank system in the Czech Republic and in the world with concentrate on commercial banks and their position in concrete economy. After passing this subject students will be able to describe base of individual bank operations and compare individual bank products from the aspect of revenue, liquidity and analyze and compare on the basis of chosen criteria such bank products that are intended for project financing.

Summary

This subject is devoted to description of banking industry. The aim of the subjects is to provide basic knowledge in the area of banking industry. Attention is paid especially to the principles of banking, role of banks in economy, domestic and cross-country payment systems, deposit services and providing loans to businesses and consumers.

• Charakteristika a fungování finančního systému • Bankovní soustava v ČR • Centrální banka • Charakteristika obchodní banky • Základy bankovního managementu • Charakteristika a systemizace bankovních produktů • Pasivní obchody (depozitní bankovní produkty, klasifikace, konstrukce, způsoby využití a vyhodnocení) • Aktivní obchody (kreditní produkty, úvěrový vztah, typy úrokových sazeb, splatnosti úvěru) • Typy úvěrů v české bankovní praxi a způsoby jejich zajištění • Platební styk – podstata, fungování • Směnky, šeky, depozitní certifikáty a jejich využití v bankovní praxi • Neutrální obchody • Podstata elektronického bankovnictví • Ostatní instituce zajišťující funkce peněžního trhu
