Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to introduce the students in selected areas of financial decision-making. Students will be able: - to introduce the importance of time value of money into decision-making, - to apply investment criterions, - to analyze and select optimal sources for company financing, - to propose financial plan of a firm.

The course Financial management and Financial decision provides the students the fundamental principles of the financial management and decision-making, particularly to understand the financial statements, how to reflect the risk and time value of money in selection rules for investment project valuation, obtaining long term forms of capital and its allocation to ensure its needs and to increase its market value.
