Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Aim of the course is to work-out substantial part of bachelor thesis.
Student should be able:
- to learn of possible problems for solution of bachelor´s thesis,
- to select a given problem,
- to formulate aim of the bachelor´s thesis,
- to select appropriate methods and processes for its solution,
- to work-out theoretical and metodology part of the bachelor´s thesis.

Summary
In this course, student proceeds his/her bachelor thesis with respect to specified topic. The output is to proceed substantial part of the thesis. Student gains necessary information on the quotation, how to work with literature. Student must be able to specify clearly and in an understandable manner the objective of thesis, steps of problem solution and methods applied.
Writing thesis is supervised either by internal supervisor and with cooperation with external experts.

Subject syllabus:
Student chooses the topic of the bachelor thesis from the following:
1. Assessment of the company´s financial performance
2. Proposal and verification of the company´s financial plan
3. Investment project valuation
4. Analysis and selection of optimal capital sources
5. Company valuation methods application
6. Analysis and assessment of tax and accounting systems
7. Management of bank and financial institutions (insurance companies, investment funds)
8. Application of multicriterial methods in financial decision-making of a company
