Aim of the course is to work-out diploma´s thesis. Student should be able: - to prove the ability to process given topic, - correclty apply selected methods and approaches, - to interpret the results and counsel them.

Summary

In this course, student proceeds particular topic of the diploma thesis. The output is submitting the significant part of the diploma thesis. Student obtains the information on quotation, how to work with literature etc. Student must be able to specify clearly and in an understandable manner, the objective of the thesis, procedure and methods applied.

Processing selected topic of the diploma thesis under the supervision of the supervisor and with the cooperation with the experts. Diploma thesis topics are from the following areas: - banking - tax system - tax theori and praxis - financial modeling at imperfect markets - financial models - financial decision-making - financial management - financial markets - fiscal theory and policy - company financial performance - management of financial institutions - monetary policy - international finance - modeling of financial time series - costs, calculations, prices - mergers and acquisitions - company valuation - money and capital markets - insurance - cash flow management
