The aim of the course is to provide basic knowledge in the area of banking industry. Attention is paid especially to the principles of banking, role of banks in economy, domestic and cross-country payment systems, deposit services and providing loans to businesses and consumers.

3. Bank characteristics.
4. Characteristic of banks and banking systems in the world.
5. Systematization of banking products, pricing of banking products.
6. Client creditworthiness, lending procedures and forms of loan collateral.
7. Deposit services.
8. Providing loans to businesses.
9. Providing loans to consumers.
10. Banking services (non-deposit and non-loan products).
11. Payment systems – characteristics of domestic and cross-country payment systems.
12. Cashless payment instruments for domestics and international payments.
13. Payment instruments: - checks, bills of exchange, documentary collections.
14. New trends in banking (Fintech, Cashless society).
