Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Cílem předmětu je seznámit studenty s vybranými oblastmi finančího řízení a rozhodování. Absolvováním tohoto předmětu budou studenti schopni: - objasnit význam faktoru času a rizika při finančním řízení a rozhodování, - aplikovat kritéria hodnocení investičních projektů, - popsat výhody a nevýhody dlouhodobých zdrojů financování, - provést analýzu zdrojů financování, - uplatnit získané poznatky při tvorbě finančního plánu.

1. Fundamentals and principles of financial management and decision-making. 2. Time value of money. 3. Capital structure and costs of capital. 4. Long-term internal sources of capital. 5. External sources of company. 6. Leasing, classification, application for financiang long-term assets. 7. Capital budgeting - project classification, phases of investment process. 8. Forecasting project cash flows. 9. Investment project valuation. 10. Risk and risk measurment.
